Ropclav-DS Uses Ropclav-DS is used in the treatment of bacterial infections in children such as ear infections (otitis media), sinusitis, throat infections, lower respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia), urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections.

How Ropclav-DS works Ropclav-DS is a combination of two medicines:

• Amoxicillin 200 mg – A penicillin-type antibiotic that stops bacterial growth by preventing formation of the bacterial cell wall
• Clavulanic Acid 28.5 mg – A beta-lactamase inhibitor that protects Amoxicillin from destruction by resistant bacteria, making the combination effective against a wider range of bacteria

This paediatric dry syrup provides broad-spectrum coverage with added protection against resistant strains.
