Finxime-100 Uses Finxime-100 is used in the treatment of bacterial infections in children. It is effective against urinary tract infections, ear infections (otitis media), throat infections (tonsillitis/pharyngitis), respiratory tract infections, typhoid fever, and other susceptible bacterial infections.

How Finxime-100 works Finxime-100 contains Cefixime, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It kills the bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.
