Bptan-AM Tabs (Telmisartan 40mg + Amlodipine 5mg) are used in the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension).

How Bptan-AM works

Bptan-AM contains two medicines:

• Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels by blocking a substance that tightens them.

• Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that widens blood vessels and improves blood flow.

Together, they help lower blood pressure more effectively and improve heart function.

Common side effects of Bptan-AM

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and usually disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine.
