Finxime-200 Uses Finxime-200 is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is effective against urinary tract infections, ear infections (otitis media), throat infections (tonsillitis/pharyngitis), respiratory tract infections (bronchitis), typhoid fever, uncomplicated gonorrhea, and other infections caused by susceptible bacteria.

How Finxime-200 works Finxime-200 contains Cefixime, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It kills the bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.
