Bptan-AMH Uses
Bptan-AMH Tabs (Amlodipine 5mg + Telmisartan HCl 40mg + Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg) are used in the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension), especially in patients who require combination therapy.
How Bptan-AMH works
Bptan-AMH contains three medicines:
-
Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow.
-
Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that prevents blood vessel tightening.
-
Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic (water pill) that helps remove excess fluid and reduces blood pressure.
Together, they lower blood pressure effectively by relaxing blood vessels, reducing fluid buildup, and decreasing the heart’s workload.
