Bptan-H Uses

Bptan-H Tabs (Telmisartan 40mg + Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg) are used in the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension).

How Bptan-H works

Bptan-H contains two medicines:

• Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels by blocking a chemical that causes them to tighten.

• Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic (water pill) that helps remove excess salt and water from the body, reducing blood pressure.

Together, they help lower blood pressure more effectively and improve blood flow.

Common side effects of Bptan-H

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and usually disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine.
