Egakof-LS Junior Uses Egakof-LS Junior is used in the treatment of cough with mucus (productive cough) in children. It helps relieve cough, chest congestion, wheezing, and breathing difficulty associated with asthma, bronchitis, and other respiratory tract conditions.

How Egakof-LS Junior works Egakof-LS Junior is a combination medicine. Ambroxol HCl is a mucolytic agent. It thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) in the lungs, making it easier to cough out. Guaiphenesin is an expectorant. It increases the volume of fluid in the airways, reduces the stickiness of mucus and helps remove it from the airways. Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens the air passages, making breathing easier.
