Egakof-T Uses Egakof-T is used in the treatment of productive cough (cough with mucus). It helps relieve cough, chest congestion, breathlessness, and throat irritation associated with bronchitis, asthma, and other respiratory conditions.

How Egakof-T works Egakof-T is a combination medicine. Terbutaline Sulphate is a bronchodilator. It relaxes the muscles in the airways and widens the air passages, making breathing easier. Bromhexine Hydrochloride is a mucolytic agent. It thins and loosens mucus in the lungs, windpipe and nose, making it easier to cough out. Guaiphenesin is an expectorant. It reduces the stickiness of mucus and helps remove it from the airways. Menthol provides a cooling sensation and relieves minor throat irritation.
