How Egazin-25-L works Egazin-25-L is a combination medicine. Empagliflozin belongs to SGLT2 inhibitors. It works by blocking glucose reabsorption in the kidneys and removes excess sugar through urine. Linagliptin belongs to DPP-4 inhibitors. It increases insulin release from the pancreas and decreases the hormones that raise blood sugar levels. Together they lower blood sugar more effectively.
