How Egazin-25 works Egazin-25 contains Empagliflozin, a sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor. It works by blocking the reabsorption of glucose in the kidneys, thereby increasing the amount of sugar excreted through urine. This lowers blood sugar levels and reduces the workload on the heart.
