Ropclav-Duo Uses Ropclav-Duo is used in the treatment of bacterial infections in children such as ear infections (otitis media), sinusitis, tonsillitis, throat infections, lower respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia), urinary tract infections, and skin & soft tissue infections.

How Ropclav-Duo works Ropclav-Duo is a combination of two medicines:

• Amoxicillin 400 mg – A broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic that kills bacteria by preventing the formation of their protective cell wall
• Clavulanic Acid 57 mg – A beta-lactamase inhibitor that blocks the enzymes produced by resistant bacteria, thereby protecting Amoxicillin and making the combination highly effective against resistant strains
