Ropclav-ES Uses Ropclav-ES is used in the treatment of serious bacterial infections in children such as severe ear infections (otitis media), sinusitis, tonsillitis, pneumonia, lower respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin & soft tissue infections, and post-surgical infections.

How Ropclav-ES works Ropclav-ES is a high-strength paediatric combination of two medicines:

• Amoxicillin 600 mg – A broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic that stops bacterial growth by preventing formation of the bacterial protective cell wall
• Clavulanic Acid 42.9 mg – A powerful beta-lactamase inhibitor that protects Amoxicillin from resistant bacteria, making the combination highly effective even against tough, resistant strains

This extra-strength (ES) formulation is specially designed for severe and resistant infections in children.
