How Ropzole-40 Injection works Ropzole-40 Injection contains Pantoprazole 40 mg. It is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that works by irreversibly blocking the final step of acid production in the stomach. It inhibits the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme (proton pump) in the gastric parietal cells, providing fast and long-lasting reduction in stomach acid secretion.
