Alcinar Injection is used in the treatment of severe malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum parasites.

How Alcinar works
Alcinar Injection contains Alpha Beta Arteether (150mg), which is an antimalarial medicine. It works by producing toxic free radicals inside the malaria parasite. These radicals damage the parasite’s proteins and membranes, leading to its death and helping to clear the infection from the body.
