Fecilix-S 1.5 Injection Uses Fecilix-S 1.5 Injection is used in the treatment of serious and resistant bacterial infections such as pneumonia, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, intra-abdominal infections, bone and joint infections, meningitis, septicemia, gynecological infections, and surgical prophylaxis where common bacteria are resistant to ceftriaxone alone.

How Fecilix-S 1.5 Injection works Fecilix-S 1.5 Injection is a combination of two medicines. Ceftriaxone is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that kills bacteria by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective cell wall. Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that protects ceftriaxone from destruction by bacterial enzymes, making it effective even against resistant bacteria.
