Fecilix-TZ Injection Uses Fecilix-TZ Injection is used in the treatment of serious and resistant bacterial infections such as pneumonia, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, intra-abdominal infections, bone and joint infections, meningitis, septicemia, gynecological infections, and surgical prophylaxis, especially when bacteria are resistant to ceftriaxone alone.

How Fecilix-TZ Injection works Fecilix-TZ Injection is a combination of two medicines. Ceftriaxone is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that kills bacteria by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective cell wall. Tazobactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that blocks the enzymes produced by resistant bacteria, protecting ceftriaxone from destruction and making the combination highly effective against resistant bacterial strains.
