How Rifarut-400 Tabs. works Rifarut-400 Tabs. contains Rifaximin 400 mg. It is a non-absorbable, gut-specific antibiotic that works by stopping the growth of harmful bacteria in the intestine. It remains mostly in the gut with very little absorption into the blood, making it highly effective and safe for intestinal infections and liver-related conditions.
